Coming back from Art Basel, Miami I’ve been inspired to due a graffiti style Mona Lisa. I made a few texts, made a stop or two and ended up with one of my up to date favorite paintings I’ve produced.  I was fortunated to have had the opportunity  to collaborate with Desire Obtain Cherish and DD$ to make a more than authentic graffiti style back drop making this Mona Lisa more street than Snooki.

Partaking in my second exhibition in early 2010 I exhibited these 3 Pieces stating Art is Big Business to find my self not selling a single piece at the end of the night. Leaving me with very little “business”  and small faith of ever making a fare living in the Art World. I had to convenience a friend of mine to take one home with him (Painting 1) so he did.  As i couldn’t  bare to haul back all my art work back to my small shared apartment.  Leaving me with two paintings that became a background drop in my living room for months. A good friend of mine notices the pieces as we chatted in my living space,  he didn’t hesitate to buy one (Painting 2) SOLD.   Two years later the last Art is Big Business painting enters and quickly sells within hours of entering the premiere floors of Lab Art Gallery for yet a higher than my suggested asking price (Painting 3) SOLD.

Not a bad way to end the story, but yet is this just the beginning?  As Journey states in one of my favorite tracks, Don’t stop believing.
